This film was a product of the first emergence of a national pandemic. Being at home with no equipment proved difficult in terms of making a film - so I decided to try something new to me. Stop motion was tricky to get a hang of at first, but it proved to be a both insightful and challenging in many positive ways.
For my puppets and backgrounds, I used a range of mixed media such as acrylic paint, cardboard, glue, pins and shrubbery from the garden. Shooting was difficult as it was very dependent on the weather, but the lighting from the sun created a really authentic feel for the piece and its setting.
